Adi Kahani

Adi Kahani was an initiative by Pratham Books, an Indian non-profit publisher, to design children’s books using Indian tribal art and folktales. Gopika Chowfla, Founder-GCD Studio, New Delhi, conducted workshops for tribal artists in collaboration with Pratham Books. The artists made a series of illustration panels with multiple elements and characters. These individual elements were then used to design the illustrated frames for each story.

This project was executed during my tenure at GCD Studio, New Delhi.
